New and Renewed Team System MVP's
Rob Caron provided a post of new and renewed Team System MVP's. I know one of the new MVP's Martin Woodward and can say I know of no one that is more deserving that Martin for such a recognition. I especially love that Martin builds a product that is coded in Java and ties into Eclipse. It only goes to show how Team Foundation Server is so incredibly versatile. Martin works deep in the bowels, relative to me. Being that he is integrating from Java he works directly with the web services which is not recommended to anyone other than folks like Martin that have that as the practical integration point. It's a messy job, I am sure, to deal with the web services and the changes that come with them. Meanwhile those of us lucky enough to work with the .NET API get to be buffered from such things. This alone gives me great respect for Martin but that respect runs much deeper. He's a great asset to the community and has been a great asset to me personally.
I'm just exceptionally pleased to see Martin's recognition. Kudos to Martin, kudos to those that nominated and recognized him, and kudos to those wise enough to have him be awarded.
I don't know Boon Tiong Lim, but do know Anthony Borton. Anthony posted about Boon Tiong Lim's friendship and as an awardee. So, by proxy with my respect of Anthony whom I hope makes it onto the list in the not too distant future, I know Boon Tiong Lim is also well deserving. Then again, they are all well deserving. It's a great honor and I can pass nothing but the greatest of applause and happiness at seeing the MVP ranks grow and grow throughout the world.
These are heady times for Team System and Visual Studio.
