Tagged - 5 Things you probably didn't know about me
Rob tagged me and now I will fulfill my obligation of telling five things you probably didn't know about me.
The funny thing is I found Mr. Caron's five things to be eerily close to some of the things I could have said - such as college experiences and US Navy (and Nuclear Power at that). So I will avoid telling those things and tell you these instead:
- I have a friend that has kidney failure and I have been waiting for him to be in the right spot in his treatment and analysis for me to be tested as a donor- hell I have a spare, but now that I have triplets he won't think of letting me test. That's very giving and selfless of him.
- I was a registered lobbyist in the State of Alabama for one or two State congressional sessions. I worked on a specific set of bills and against some other specific bills. I had some modest success and really enjoyed it.
- The only formal computer programming class I have ever taken was Fortran as part of my Chemical Engineering undergrad work.
- I have a fourteen year old son from a prior marriage that I can hardly wait for him to be grown so I can hopefully spend more time with him.
- I was afraid of the dark until I was far too old to have been afraid of the dark.
