WSS 3.0, TFS and NOT Orcas
I try to avoid repeating the same news from the communities I am most closely aligned. I figure if I have read it so have everyone else that reads what I might have to say. But this is such great news that I couldn't help but pass it along. Brian Keller has a made a post Configuring Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server with Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. I can hardly wait to try it. I really like what Brian Harry has to say in the post in which he discusses this topic:
I'd like to thank Mike Glaser for shaming us into doing this by reverse engineering many of the steps necessary to accomplish it.
I have been telling clients every opportunity that I had that the Team System folks were the most responsive group I had run into at Microsoft and that what people said and asked for really mattered. This only goes to show how true that is.
I'll be trying this out tonight and let you know.
